Most Single Family Residences are comprised of 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms with living room, family room, kitchen, 2 baths and 2-car garage.
Condominiumscan be 1, 2 or 3 bedroom residencies with living room, kitchen and 1 or 2 baths. Some may have 1 or 2-car garages, while others may have carports. Common areas include swimming pools and clubhouse.

There are also apartment buildings owned by individuals or companies that contain from 2 up to 100 units per building. They can be rented out to tenants for profit.

Perhaps the most difficult part of selecting a home in Orange County is simply choosing which part of the County you want to live in - all of it is beautiful and every area offers something unique.
To help you get oriented, the following offers a brief description of the four basic geographic area of Orange County. This is by no means a complete description, but it may help you visualize the location of various cities and communities within the county limits. For more information please call our Huntington Beach office at 714-375-9162.

South Orange County extends from Irvine west to the coast, along the coast to the Orange/San Diego County line, east beyond Coto de Caza, and back northwest to Irvine through the EI Toro, Irvine, Langula Hills, Mission Viejo, San Clemente, and San Juan Capistrano.
South Orange County is the most recently developed overall area and now offers a wide selection of housing opportunities. Many new and beautiful “planned communities” abound in South County, especially those featuring single family homes and condominiums. Some developments offer shopping centers within the neighborhood such as the one at Market on the Lake in Mission Viejo, a community in Saddleback Valley.
Central Orange County is a favorite with young and old alike for it is the home of Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, Anaheim Stadium and other world-famous attractions. Baseball and football fans will know that the “Big A” is home to both the California Angels and the Los Angeles Rams. In addition to professional sports and world-class amusement parks, Central Orange County uniquely blends rural and suburban living and offers a wide-range of housing opportunities.
In the northern section, of Central Orange County, older stately homes on tree-lined avenues preserve the lifestyle and heritage of early California. A walk down Tustin’s Main Street offers a glimpse into the Victorian era and vintage homes and businesses have been carefully protected and preserved to retain the city’s historic flavor.
In the southern section, of Central Orange County many new executive-style apartments and homes have been recently completed and there is also a fine selection of condominiums and townhomes to choose from. Santa Ana, the County Seat, is located within this region. Central County includes, but is not limited to, the communities of Anaheim Hills, Buena Park, Santa Ana, Orange, and Tustin.

Coastal/West Orange County extends over one of the most beautiful oceanfront areas in the world. Ranging from Sunset Beach in the north, along the coast to the south, Coastal/West Orange County offers a year round equitable climate, a variety of housing opportunities.
For those who enjoy living close to the water, Coastal/West Orange County offers a choice of homes with an ocean view of homes on the bay. In communities such as Huntington Harbor, located in the northern section, you can find executive-style, waterfront homes with the family yacht moored just a short walk from the front door. Similar situations are the heart and soul of beautiful Newport Harbor, one of the most photographed bays in the world. If the sight and sound of crashing waves is more to your liking, many oceanfront and ocean view homes are available, both for lease and for sale, in Coastal/West and South Orange County.
North Orange County includes the picturesque rolling hills of the northeast region. Many of the communities in this area manage to retain a small-town flavor and rural living can still be found here. North County is especially popular with equestrians, golfers, hikers, and other out-of-doors enthusiasts. Single family homes abound in this area, but new townhomes and condominiums are also available. This area includes, but is not limited to, the communities of Brea, Fullerton, La Habra, Placentia, and Yorba Linda.
North Orange County is home to some spectacular golf courses, ten parks, and miles of well-maintained trails for both bicycles and horses. If country living among gentle rolling hills sounds attractive, County may be just what you are looking for. A balanced mix of rural ambience combined with modern schools, businesses, and shopping areas makes North County one of the most popular regions, especially with the first time homebuyers and families with young children. One of the most popular architectural styles in the region is the single story California Ranch- and no wonder, it fits the surrounding countryside perfectly. Townhomes and condominiums are available in a wide price range and, as in other regions, many lovely family and executive style homes are available for sale.
Within those four geographic areas there is climate diversity, and local weather conditions offering something for everyone. Whether your taste runs toward the sun and surf of the coastal beaches, the ski slopes of the mountains, or a picturesque desert sunset, you can always find something fun to do in, or near, Orange Country.
Of course weather and climate alone will not determine where you choose to live, but knowing a little about the environmental conditions may help you feel more comfortable. Whether you are moving in from another county or from clear across the nation, you will find that Orange County is willing and able to meet your needs. Welcome!
